The Explanation and Clarification of Some Aspects Mentioned in the Exegesis of Surah At-Tin (An Analytical and Comparative Exegetical Study)

Abstract

Surah At-Tin is a brief chapter of the Holy Quran, consisting of only eight verses, yet it is profound in meaning and lessons. It addresses a significant theological point: God's oath by His creations-the fig, the olive, Mount Sinai, and the sacred city of Mecca-to affirm that He created humankind in the best of forms. The Surah further explains the concept of returning to the lowest of the low, referring to the frailty of old age, while exempting those who believe and perform righteous deeds. These individuals receive uninterrupted rewards, reflecting divine wisdom in both creation and justice. This study aims to provide an analytical and comparative interpretative analysis of these verses, highlighting the intricate connections between the divine oath and the state of human existence.
