Design and Economic Feasibility Analysis of a Grid -connected photovoltaic power plant
Keywords:
Sustainable Energy, Solar Energy, Grid-Connected Photovoltaic SystemAbstract
The study addresses the importance of photovoltaic solar energy as a renewable source and its role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide, and enhancing environmental sustainability, making it one of the cleanest energy sources. The results indicate that solar power plants produce no direct emissions during operation and that emissions resulting from the manufacturing of solar panels are limited compared with fossil fuel-based power plants. The study also shows that despite the high initial costs of establishing solar energy systems, their long-term economic and environmental benefits make them a sustainable and effective option for electricity generation. The study recommends expanding the use of solar energy and supporting its development due to its significant role in reducing emissions, combating climate change, and achieving sustainability.
