This study aimed to examine the impact of digital platforms on the formation of cultural identity and the changes they may bring about in some of its components as a result of increasing openness to other cultures, particularly in light of the rapid developments and transformations taking place worldwide due to the widespread use of digital communication technologies. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing the relevant scientific literature and previous studies and analyzing the theoretical framework explaining the influence of digital platforms on cultural identity. Symbolic interactionism was employed as the framework for the study theoretical the study found that digital platforms are among the most significant factors influencing the formation of cultural identity. Although they offer several advantages, including facilitating access to information and communication among individuals, they simultaneously affect the cultural identity of many individuals and communities by altering various characteristics of their cultures. The study also emphasized the importance of utilizing digital platforms in ways that support cultural identity and preserve wing the relevant scientific literature and previous studies and analyzing the theoretical framework explaining the influence of digital platforms on cultural identity. Symb the distinctiveness of communities and their cultural values, while taking advantage of their potential to disseminate and promote the culture of society.
