The Role of Kindergarten Teachers in Developing Communication Skills for Kindergarten Children: A Field Study in the Qasr bin Ghashir Region

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of kindergarten teachers in developing communication skills for children in the Qasr bin Ghashir region, as well as to identify the communicative practices used by teachers, the difficulties affecting this role, and proposed mechanisms for enhancement. Utilizing a descriptive methodology, the researcher applied a questionnaire to a sample of 27 kindergarten teachers. The results revealed that the level of communicative practices used by teachers was high, while the difficulties they faced were at a moderate level. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found in the respondents' answers regarding academic qualifications, years of experience, or training courses. The study recommends encouraging teachers to participate in workshops and training programs focused on communication skills.
