Cancer is a growing global health challenge, and accurate epidemiological data is essential for developing prevention and treatment strategies. The Aljufra region of Libya is one of the Libyan cities that suffers from a scarcity of statistical data on cancer. This study aimed to analyze the temporal, geographical, and demographic distribution of registered cancer cases attending the oncology department at Al-Afia Hospital in Hun, Aljufra region, during the period 2020–2025, and to identify the most common types and the most vulnerable groups. Methodology: The study employed a descriptive retrospective design to analyze the medical records of oncology patients at Al-Afia Hospital in Hun. All registered cancer cases recorded between January 2020 and December 2025. The data categorized by year, sex, age, city, and cancer type. Statistical analysis then performed using Microsoft Excel. 101 cases registered during the selected period. The results showed annual fluctuations, with the highest incidence in 2022 and the lowest in 2020. Females more frequently affected than males. The 50-60 age group had the highest incidence. Breast cancer was the most common, followed by colon cancer and then prostate cancer. Hun had the highest number of cases, followed by Sukna. Cancer in the Aljufra region exhibits an epidemiological pattern characterized by a predominance of breast cancer and a high incidence among women and the 50-60 age group. The study recommends strengthening early breast cancer screening programs, establishing a regional database, and developing the oncology department services at Afia Hospital.
