    Abstract

This research investigates the Semantic Nuances of Fellowship Terms in the Holy Qur’an through a lexico-contextual approach. It aims to elucidate the subtle linguistic distinctions that differentiate the terms (Al-Khalil, Al-Rafiq, Al-Sadiq, Al-Sahib, Al-Qarin, and Al-Khadan). The study concludes that the selection of each specific term serves a precise semantic purpose, accounting for the degrees of proximity, the nature of companionship, and the essence of the relationship between the parties. Such meticulous precision reflects the Qur’anic inimitability (I’jaz) in employing the most fitting lexical item within its optimal context.
